University marathon - Charles University Chancellor's Cup Race

Do you want to experience something unrepeatable? Stand up to the start of the prestigious international race the Volkswagen Prague Marathon and measure your strengths with the best marathon's runners. After a successful University marathon in the last year, we again decided to support you "university students" and we have prepared for you another sensational race in the year 2012.

This year is significant by the fact that together we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of student programme the Erasmus. The main patron of the University marathon is the Charles University in Prague.

Create a team of 4 people and run with us a unique distance of 42 kilometres in the form of relay. Take advantage of team strategy and enjoy the unique feeling of joy and success at finish. Reward will not be only crowds of cheering fans, media attention, medals or team success, but also an invitation to the Gala evening at the Hilton Hotel Prague, where you can celebrate your victory with delicious food and music. The winning team will be awarded directly from the Rector of Charles University prof. RNDr. Václav Hampl, DrSc.

There will be not only teams from the Czech Republic but also teams from the famous University of Oxford or students from exotic Singapore. Read the interview with them.

Who can register?

All students of universities from the Czech Republic and from abroad (between 18 and 26 years), who are ISIC cardholders or who send to us a confirmation of the study. The race is open to teams of students and mixed teams. From one university or faculty can register an unlimited number of teams.

Every university student, who send to us a confirmation of the study or ISIC cardholder will get SPECIAL DISCOUNT ON ENTRY FEE.

ATTENTION! Discounted fee applies only to online registration and payment no later than April 30, 2012.

The capacity of the race is limited and the registration can be closed in advance.

Payment method

By credit/debit card, by bank transfer to PIM account or in cash (CZK) in the office on address Záhořanského 3, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech republic.

• Only completed and submit the registration form is valid
• Payment by bank transfer must be performed after receipt of a variable symbol

The entry fee must be the amount that is finally transferred to the bank account of the race organizer. All accompanying fees and charges must be incurred by the payer.
