Rules & General Information

General

  • Half marathon (21.0975 km) and marathon (42.195 km) course events are open to all runners at least 18 years old. Shorter distance (5 and 10 km) events are open to runners over 15 years of age.
  • Each participant must declare that he or she is older than 18 years of age. In the event that the participant is between 15 and 17 years of age, the runner must receive consent from his or her guardian.
  • Each participant is aware of the risks, i.e. the risk of physical damage or injury incurred while participating in the race.
  • Each participant declares his or her participation as voluntary.
  • The organizer reserves the right to change the program.
  • adidas Women's Race 5 km is open only to women.
  • Only properly registered runners are allowed to participate in the race.
  • Local regulations for the races are taken from decrees and orders issued by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), International Association of Marathons and Road Races (AIMS) and the Czech Athletic Federation (ČAS).
  • Participation in the race is at your own risk.
  • The runners are personally responsible for making the decision to take part in the race based on their own physical ability and readiness to cross the entire distance.
  • The race will take place regardless of weather conditions.
  • The organizer is not responsible for any injury, any property damage or any other harm arising in connection with participation in the race or watching it.
  • Each participant is required to have health insurance at the time of the race in the event that emergency services are needed or hospitalization.
  • None of the organizers' decisions are subject to judicial review.

Registration

  • The organiser reserves the right to interrupt or close the registrations without prior notice.
  • Registration is possible only through online registration form available on the organiser's webpage and/or places determined by organiser
  • Registration is deemed as completed at the point of receiving full payment, price is determined by the date of crediting to organiser's bank account, paid in cash or by bank/credit card.
  • Registration fee confirmed by participant in on-line order is final, non-refundable, and is non-transferable to another person.
  • Orders not paid within 7 working days of their submission or by the Tuesday before the first respective race will be automatically cancelled.
  • Already paid registration fee is transferable to another race only in the event of medical issues. In order for such a transfer to be processed the participant must send medical report to the email address of the organiser ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) latest 10 days before the respective race. No later transfer is possible. Transfer of the registration fee is approved only by the organiser.
  • Purchased items (price paid for them) from additional merchandising are non-refundable and non-transferable (not even due to medical reasons).
  • The size of a T-shirt cannot be changed once it has been ordered.
  • The organiser reserves the right to limit additional merchandise sales (e.g. t-shirt, medal engraving, massage in Expo, pasta party)

Race

  • Start package can only be picked up at the Race Expo. Start package will not be sent by mail or any other way before or after the race.
  • Start package will be handed over on the reception of a confirmation email, including an assigned start number and photo id.
  • Each race participant must follow the instruction of the organizers, volunteers, and referees.
  • Violation of one or more rules (especially manupilation of the start number or chip) or rules of IAFF/ČAS may lead to disqualification from the race and removal from result without compensation.
  • Each race participant is required to read and respect important information and guidelines published by the organizer on the website before the event.
  • Skates, bicycles and other vehicles are strictly forbidden on the race course as well as shortcutting the course.
  • Each race participant must write contact details, medication and any allergies on the back side of start number in case of medical treatment.
  • Prizes for winners are determined seperately for each race and published on the website of the organizer. Prizes are paid after doping controls. The winners of each category will be contacted by email. Prizes are not enforceable.

Timekeeping and results

  • It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the starting number and /or chip.
  • The starting number must be visibly placed on the chest during the whole race. It is forbidden to overlap the start number, especially while crossing time checkpoints.
  • The regularity of the race is supervised by referees of ČAS.
  • The starting number (and chip) is non-transferable. Breach of these rules will lead to disqualification.
  • Runners running the full length of the course (including team race participants) - men and women are ranked separately. Veteran category bonuses are announced for each race.
  • The "official time" is the time from the shot. "Real time" is the time from crossing the start line to crossing the finishing line.
  • Times at checkpoints and real time are informational only.
  • Rank is determined according to the order at the finish, therefore, according to official time.
  • Participants can claim results within 5 calendar days of the race by writing to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
  • Each participant must return chip -in the finish area, at the chceckpoints or at the address of the organizer as soon as possible.

Team Races

  • Teams and relays: at least one member of the team must be from the presented organization. The team can also be mixed in terms of gender.
  • All participants of the team race run the full distance (excluding relay team members).
  • Runners of the relay race must run in the order that your names are listed on the application form and in accordance with changeover points.
  • You can change the members of your team and their order through the online registration system. This change must be done by the Tuesday before the race.
  • Team members are not allowed to swap chips or start numbers.
  • After you have completed your leg it is strictly forbidden to continue in the race unless you clearly remove your start number and chip.
  • Warning: A breach of any of these rules will lead to your whole team being disqualified!
  • Teams - individual running times are cumulated to give a final team ranking (based on official time).
  • Runners from elite start list are not allowed to participate in team race.
  • Relays - each member is required to run only one leg / part (the member who's start number ends in 1 starts, member who's start number ends in 4 - runs to the finish, etc.). Classification of relays is given according to the ranking at the finish (official time).
