Volunteers

About 2,500 volunteers help organize the Prague International Marathon events every year.

The Prague International Marathon relies on the volunteers' help. There would not be any race if it wasn't for the volunteers helping along the course and elsewhere where needed.

We want to get better at providing services for the runners, spectators and partners. We seek closer cooperation among all members of the organizing staff. Our volunteers take part in the preparation for the races, at the Marathon EXPO, along the course during races, at the refreshment points, at the finish, at the VIP area and many other places.

Every volunteer gets a quality adidas T-shirt and a cap designed specially for the volunteers. There are regular meetings with the volunteers throughout the year and the most active ones are invited to the final party and other PIM events.

We are putting together a new action and self-confident organizing team that will cooperate with us and help us with preparation and organization of the races on a professional level. We want the organizing staff to be more included in the backstage organization to identify better with the race.
