Prague will host the 19th Congress of AIMS in 2012!
Prague International Marathon (PIM) is pleased to announce that it has received the full support and confidence of the delegates of AIMS (the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) who have voted that the 19th AIMS World Congress should be held in Prague in 2012, and that PIM will be the organiser. The AIMS World Congress takes place once every two years, with more than 300 participants and representatives of member organizations attending from all around the world.
Carlo Capalbo, the president of PIM organizing team, said:
"It is an honor to be chosen as the host for this event, which is a testament to our ability to organise such an event, and also promotes the country where the congress is being held. I am proud that in 2012 the attention of the whole running world will be drawn to theCzech Republic and, in particular, to Prague."
