Carnival

The unique Carnival march will take place for the 5th time this year on 9 May before the traditional Marathon race.

The Marathon weekend will start with a colorful carnival march. Dozens of percussionists from the Czech Republic and foreign countries will march throughout the historical city, playing Latin and African rhythms. Together with dancers, jugglers and stilt-walkers, they will perform a drum and dance show.

Miloš Vacík and Tam Tam Batucada

A group of drummers led by Miloš Vacík specialize in Brazilian samba, but also in the rhythms of Africa and Cuba. Miloš Vacík formed the primary samba school in the Czech Republic. More information available at www.tamtam-orchestra.cz.

Brasil show

The Brasil show presents the best of Latin American rhythms and dances. The multi-member group comprised of professional dancers, musicians and choreographers has prepared a unique show full of energy coming from the Latin American cultures.
